Hey Everyone,
I've just started a new art blog! It's going to feature my illustrations and new art projects. Here is a little sneak peak at my new house painting obsessions.

You can find it all here:

There may be overlap from time to time, but if you are interested in seeing more of my artwork you can click that link above:)

Hey everyone!
I've been nominated for the Leibster award! By my beautiful and talented friend Nicole Young.

Find her Blog here:

Anyway here are the rules:

1. Each person must post 11 things about themselves.
2. Answer the questions that the tagger set for you plus create 11 questions for the people you’ve tagged to answer.
3. Choose 11 people and link them in your post.
4. Go to their page and tell them.
5. No tag backs!

Eleven Facts about me:

I love horror films.
I love the smell of wood. (Big Surprise!)
I drink about ten glasses of water everyday, since I was little!
I love doughnuts
I love pools, watersides and hot tubs.
One of my favourite activities is to go around town and search for cute coffee shops, and I mostly get Mochas.
I listen to a lot of audiobooks.
I'm a sucker for package design.
One time my best friend and I sat up two t.v.s side by side one another and played video games for hours and hours. The games we were playing were only one player so thats why we got two tvs. (SO Random, but I just remembered it and it made me laugh.)
I'm in love with Victoria B.C., I can see myself leaving for a while but I would really like to raise children here. (Yes I want Children)
I think in another life I was a farmer's wife. The idea of living on a farm, collecting eggs, tending to the animals and (SORRY NICOLE) being barefoot and pregnant is a little bit appealing to me.

Recently I received a large wholesale order from a lovely lady on the Island. Her and her husband are opening up an online store and they seemed really nice so I decided to commit to a wholesale order again. My last experience with wholesaling was absolutely disastrous, but I could tell that these two sellers would be much more kind to me. I will let everyone know immediately when my items are up on their website, they are photographing everything and just getting it launched right now, I can't wait to see everything!

Happy Valentines day everyone!
I don't have a "romantic" valentine this year, but I do have a lovely thoughtful mother who sends me treats and handmade accessories! Check out the AMAZING earrings she made me, I'm guessing it was a pinterest find but who knows she is such a crafty lady! Scroll down to see some of the photos of my lovely mama sent me. My favorite part was the wrapping of the little gift. She rocks!

Anyway, I hope all your valentines days are filled with lots of love from boyfriends, girlfriends, mums, dads, cats or dogs!

A little peak at a new project...

Roughly one year ago when I was working at the community center pool in penticton. Our supervisor Kerry had as all write down one thing we were grateful for. She recently had read that if you acknowledge the things you cherish in your life, more will come to you that way. So here is my own spin off of that, I'm going to start doing a "Things that make me Happy" post, hopefully on saturday, at the end of the week. So here it goes, my first "happy" post.

1) This letter in the mail from one of my best girlfriends.

2)This house I found on a walk around Fernwood.

 3) This care-package from my Mama.

4)Finally getting my wholesale order finished.

 5) These little birdie earrings I made out of old beads.

 6)This painting night I had.

 7) This restauraunt I had breakfast at with my dad.

 8) This cat stuffy I found at the thrift shop for 50 cents.
 9) This zombie run app.
This app is way too cool, just a little review of it right now. You turn it on while you're running and a story/narration plays in your head. Two men are coversing with eachother and they "see you" running down in a field being chased by zombies. Every few minutes a song plays between the dialogue, one of your songs, and you collect items to help build your shelter along the way. It DEFINITELY makes you run! There was this one part today where there was a zombie woman right behind me and I could here her growling, and the guy who is guiding you is screaming at you to run! So much fun and can't wait to use it again. There are 23 different stories that you unlock along the way. Definitely a find.

Anyway, that's my "things that make me happy" post for last week. Hope lots of good stuff comes this week too!

My Friday Finds feature this week is Carmyn Joy. I've done features on other artists, designers, photographers before, but I'm going to attempt to make it a weekly thing. So kicking off my friday features is a photographer named Carmyn Joy. Local native Canadian Carmyn enjoys travels, her kitten and obviously taking photographs. I really love the style of her photos, I'm not a photo-gal, so I wont insult anyone by trying to describe what I see when I look at her pictures, but I know what I like and this is it. I'm hoping that one day she makes a treck out west and maybe I can get her to take some photos of my jewelry. Wishful thinking! In the mean time I will satisfy myself by checking up on her blog and instagram. Check out her photos below!
